February 14-16

I've been busy!

For starters, my Valentine's Day was awesome! Brade and I went to Valentine's Day, the movie. (Not that great, but cute) after that I told Brade that I would be cooking supper for him! (This is a big surprise because in the 2 and a half years we've been dating I've never made him any type of food at all. I'm an awful cook.) I was really scared! I texted my mom about every 2 minutes. I made baked mashed potatoes, bbq chicken, corn, and chocolate covered strawberries. (I know that one chicken looks burnt to a crisp, but I assure you it wasn't.) I did a good job! After the meal Brade told me his surprise. A savager hunt! I went a little crazy, and I think he enjoyed watching me more than he enjoyed my excellent supper!

Ok on to the 15th- a day before my birthday.

I was just sitting in my dorm before my last class of the day when I got this picture from my sister:

I turned to Claire and said, "My mom is outside our door?" I opened the door and there she was!!!! I was so excited!!! Then my mom said, "Look who else is here." Out walked my dad and sister!! That will probably be my best birthday memory ever.


So today I turned 19, and let me tell you I feel the same. Well...not exactly the same. I'm a whole lot more excited due to surprises and new toys!!!

Claire, being the wonderfully weird best friend she is, got me a typewriter! An actual typewriter. It's heavy and blue and I love it. Oh, she also got my a compass so I know where I am.




My wonderful boyfriend got all of my many hints and got me a Fugi Instax Mini!! It's so cute..so so cute. I can't wait to go polaroid crazy with it. Just gotta wait for some film!!!




And that my friends is all! It was a crazy couple of days but I loved every minute of it! I have an wonderful family and awesome friends!!

I am going back to school tomorrow after a very nice, long break. I'm excited...I am. But I've gotten really used to being home. It's like I'm leaving all over again. And that makes me sad. I really like my family. This semester is sure to be fantastic though. And I am happy. I am.

A Honeyman Halloween

Abby let me give her doll makeup. Cutest little doll I've ever seen!
Jonah refused makeup so he dressed up as an old man instead. He did, however, let me draw a whale on his arm so he could be Jonah and the Whale. Unique huh?

Luke was a very, very old man. I had a lot of fun with this. :)

this about sums up my cleaning philosophy. my room is a complete mess as is the desk in the living room. i'm right in the middle of a bunch of projects, and instead of putting my stuff away after i'm done i just leave it out..and start another project. it's really starting to add up. the same goes with my bedroom. i'm beginning to think that maybe if i just wait til i pack for college i'll never have to clean it ever again. EVER. weird thought.

Family Tattoo Night

Do I have an awesome family or what?

Last night after work we all loaded up into the pickup and headed to town! Tattoos were what we were after, and tattoos were what we got. People always ask what it feels like to get a tattoo...well, here's our comparisons:

I said it feels like a thousand bee stings.

My dad said it feels like scraping off skin with a cuticle clipper.

Mom agreed but said it was more like pulling your skin off.

Luke said, "Feels like getting a tattoo."

I guess I'd have to agree. It's like nothing I've felt before. But, it was really a fun time. We all LOVE our new ink!

sorry, but nothing good rhymes with tattoos. haha. so ready for the big news?! my dad, mom, brother, and i are all getting tattoos together! i put together a design with all our first initials in it. everyone in the family's eventually going to get it (the youngest two are just too little) :) i'm excited!!

this weekend i:

• was in a car for 14 hours
• napped on my boyfriend for 8 of those hours
• went to a beautiful wedding
• took my first polariod picture!
• rode a hydro bike
• paddled a kayak
• showered in what seemed like a scary cave
• Camped!!
• roasted teeny weenies over an open fire
• spent quality time with my boyfriend and his awesome family
• and Had FUN!

Girls Weekend!

hello! greetings from my brand new computer! :) i am so excited to finally have my own laptop! it's nothing special, but it's mine and it's perfect. i have been neglecting my blog lately and that makes me sad. my mom, sister, and i had a girls weekend at aunt robin's lake cabin. we stayed up late, talked, played cards, shopped, made a fire (all by ourselves!) and even jet skied and tubed! we had lots and lots of fun and even managed to take a piece of it back with us.. my cousin brooke is staying with us until friday! it's always so fun having her here, she's the cutest thing you'll ever see. but i do have bad news...

i've gotten the urge to cut my hair.

once i get the urge i can never seem to shake it. i've even gone so far as to pick out my style.

what do you think? maybe i should go blond as well....Just Kidding!
