here are some logos i have been working on for the talented megan wold. the colors came out all wrong on here. it doesn't look like that at all. the circle on the one below is light blue and the words are dark brown.

the initials in the one is supposed to be brown and the words are light blue.

a quick posting.

i am thankful for:

• my amazing boyfriend. who never complains about running redundant errands for me. for example- yesterday we had to drive back and forth to my dorm twice. because of my forgetfulness. and we're going to have to go back again today.


• my brother, luke. he's coming to visit today! i haven't seen my family in so long. i'm so excited!


• seth. yes, i am. i am thankful for seth because he is so excited for this weekend which makes me even MORE excited. well that and a lot of other reasons, like last night when he made me a cheeseburger. :)


• claire. i get to see her tonight. look out best friend, here i come! p.s. please come to school here.


• slippers. they keep my toes so nice and warm. thank you target slippers. i love you.

Sudio Crawl

Happy Monday!!
Last night I was totally dreading this week. There's nothing hard that's due...I just didn't want to do it. But everything changed after my first class. My design professor won't be around this Wednesday so we don't have class, and next Monday we have off for Fall Breather. :D YAY!! I was so pumped. :) still am!! I love how one little thing can turn everything around.
Anyway, I went to the Fargo/Moorhead Studio Crawl yesterday. We went to four studios.

This is Jon Offutt. He's a glass blower! He actually did Two demonstrations for us! It was really cool. I want to be a glass blower :)

He had a ton of glass pumpkins (big and small) all over his yard. You couldn't even tell they were glass until you got up close. Random piece of artwork :)

Carl Oltvedt (aka my drawing teacher!) His studio was awesome! He's amazing.

This one was so cool. They did giant Day of the Dead posters. They had big pieces of carved wood with intricate designs on them that they painted over. Then they put apiece of paper over it and drove a STEAM ROLLER over it.

it's been raining ALL day. my bangs look ridiculous. and it's supposed to stay rainy through the weekend. i realllllly want to go to target and get some rain boots and an umberella.. not just for looks. its a necessity.
